What’s Coming to Netflix in August 2023

Netflix subscribers are in for a packed roster this August as and new favorites head to the streamer. Coming to the small screen on August 31 is the highly-anticipated “One Piece,” a live-action series based on Eiichiro Oda’s same-name manga. Netflix original “Painkiller” joins the streamer on August 10 to retell stories of America’s opioid epidemic with the help of Matthew Broderick and Uzo Aduba, and the second half of episodes of “The Lincoln Lawyer” Season 2 is set to premiere August 3.

Past favorites also make their way to Netflix this month, including Eddie Murphy’s 1988 rom-com “Coming to America,” Sofia Coppola’s “Lost in Translation,” America Ferrera’s “Ugly Betty” Seasons 1-4, five films from the “Fast and Furious” franchise and the 1986 classic “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”
