Neil Gaiman and Irvine Welsh join Iceland Noir 2023 line-up with more names just announced
NOTE: This excerpt is a republication of Iceland Noir 2023 official newsletter.
We are thrilled that these two literary giants will appear alongside Dan Brown and Louise Penny at Iceland Noir 2023.
Ten years ago, we started Iceland Noir as a one-day crime-fiction festival. We have evolved and grown and become a festival that celebrates darkness in all its forms.
This year the festival will take place across five venues, with fringe events starting on the 13th of November and the main festival running 15-18th of November.
Also announced today are Prime Minister of Iceland Katrín Jakobsdóttir, and the First Lady of Iceland Eliza Reid, who will appear alongside the festival hosts Óskar Guðmundsson, Sverrir Norland, Ragnar Jónasson, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson and Yrsa Sigurðardóttir.
We have many, many more wonderful authors announced:
Suzy Aspley / Sigríður Hagalín Björnsdóttir / Katherine Black
Sara Blædel / May Cobb / C. J. Cooke / Alex Dahl / Tracy Darnton
Will Dean / Louise Doughty / Kamilla Einarsdóttir / Lexie Elliott
