2024 BAFTA nominations predictions: Our official odds in 10 top categories

The nominations for the 77th BAFTA Film Awards will be revealed on Thursday, January 18, exactly one month before the winners are set to be feted. Using only their predetermined longlists, the various chapters of the British academy voted for their finalists over the course of one week (Jan. 5-12). More than 2,000 Gold Derby users – including Experts and Editors as well as our Top 24 and All Star Top 24 BAFTA forecasters – have made their nominations predictions in the categories of Best Picture, Best Director, Best Casting, and Best Animated Feature, plus all four acting and both writing races. Our official odds, as listed below, are based on the combined showings of these prognostications. The anticipated nominees are ranked in order of likelihood, with the projected winners highlighted in gold.
